Our bestselling Kenyan jewellery is back in stock and we wanted to take a moment to introduce you properly to the people who make it.
Meet Anton and Benta: husband and wife, master metalworkers, and two of the artisans we've worked with longest here at AARVEN. From their workshop in Nairobi, they transform reclaimed brass and aluminium into the delicate stars, moons, hoops and charms you've come to love - each one cut, shaped, hammered and polished entirely by hand.

From recycled metal to something beautiful
There's a particular kind of magic in watching a piece of AARVEN jewellery come to life. What begins as discarded, reclaimed metal becomes, in Anton and Benta's hands, something you'll wear every day. Nothing is mass-produced; every earring, ring and necklace carries the small, lovely variations that only come from being made by a person rather than a machine.
It's jewellery with a genuine conscience: recycled materials, fairly made, by people we know by name and have visited in person. When you wear it, you're wearing their skill and their story.
You can read more about Anton and Benta's story and how they began here.
